2. View 3D File
Select the file with the 3D cube icon.
Click the three dots.
Click on βView 3D Model.β
3. Features of the 3D viewer
1. Rotate
Easily rotate your model in all directions.
2. Pan
Lock your model at the desired zoom level. Your model will no longer rotate.
3. Zoom
Zoom in and out on your model.
4. First Person
Navigate through your model yourself and walk through each room. When you open the model, a pop-up appears with instructions on how to navigate. In the top-right corner, you can see your current location within the model.
5. Camera Interactions
Fit to Screen β centers the model again if it moves out of view.
Focal length β the lower the number, the wider the view (wide angle). The higher the number, the more you zoom in.
Panning β rotate the view without rotating the model.
6. Units of Measurement
Measure distances within the model, such as horizontal and vertical distances, angles, and calibration.
7. Cross-Section Analyses
Create cross-sections of the model, both horizontal and vertical.
8. Document browser
Displays all relevant documents for the building or model.
π‘ Tip: The document browser is more comprehensive for Revit files than for IFC files.
9. Levels
Click on a level to show only that level. Click it again to make all other levels visible again. This allows you to easily turn floors on and off.
10. Model Browser
Displays all relevant elements of the building or model.
11. Properties
Use the Properties panel together with the Model Browser for a complete overview of all documents and elements of the building.
12. Settings
